Mission

EXCELLENCE: Striving for excellence is the mission of Aspen Orthopedics. The term "excellence" is heard in about every venue, but just what does that mean when it comes to orthopedic care? We believe that there are four prime ingredients: Passion, Learning, Communication and Facilities.

PASSION is a love for that which one does, a quality which pushes a person to be as good at something as they can possibly be. Passion is an ingrained, deep rooted commitment of our physicians and staff for achieving the best level of care possible for each and every patient.

LEARNING, education and training are an ongoing and integral part of the orthopedic practice at Aspen. We at Aspen have gathered together a well trained and committed group of board certified orthopedic surgeons, and podiatric specialists to fulfill our passion. Our physicians and staff keep up to date and by sharing and participating in continuing education programs, orthopedic journal reading, and teaching. We have been active in osteoporosis education since 1972 and continue to educate, diagnose and treat osteoporosis. We have participated in drug trials, orthopedics implant trials, and acted as beta test sites for software.

COMMUNICATION with peers, staff and patients is so important to maximize the level of care and understanding about a patient's conditon. We have developed a library of patient information brochures to give out at patient sessions and at various forums and talks where our physicians and staff present. We have expanded our website for patient education. We have pioneered an orthopedic office patient advocate program that is unique in helping patients communication.

We have modern equipment and FACILITIES to enhance the ability to care for patients and enhance our ability to achieve the goals of Aspen. We were one of the first to be computerized in 1976 and one of the first practices to maintain electronic medical records. We have modern offices with well equipped x-ray, bone densitometry and minor surgery rooms.

Orthopedic surgeons are the primary musculoskeletal care specialists who are trained to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal conditions, and who educate patients and the public in preventive care and life styles that maintain a healthy musculoskeletal system. We at Aspen are totally committed to this concept. We practice in all areas of orthopedics: trauma and fractures, sports medicine, hand surgery, arthritis and joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery, foot and ankle surgery, kyphoplasty and spine surgery ,and shoulder and elbow surgery. We also provide bone densitometry and special braces and orthotics.

Our physicians and staff have the passion, dedication and proficiency that defines Aspen Orthopedics.
