James P. Wood, M.D.
Dr. Wood received his certification from The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1983. He has special interests in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Wood joined Aspen Orthopedics in 1983.
A University of Michigan Medical School graduate, Dr. Wood interned at Northwestern in Chicago and was Chief Resident at Northwestern University. Dr. Wood has served as chairman of the Department of Orthopedic/Neurosurgery at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital and at West Allis Memorial Hospital. He is also an active staff member of Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Aurora West Allis Medical Center, Waukesha Memorial Hospital, and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Wood is married and has two daughters. He is a resident of Waukesha.
