Dr. James P. Wood
Dr. Wood received his certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1983. He has special interests in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.
A University of Michigan Medical School graduate, Dr. Wood interned at Northwestern in Chicago and was Chief Resident at Northwestern University. Dr. Wood has served as chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic/Neurosurgery at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital and at West Allis Memorial Hospital. He is also an active staff member of Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, West Allis Memorial Hospital, Waukesha Memorial Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital-Bluemound.
Born in 1950, Dr. Wood is married and has two daughters. He is a resident of Elm Grove.
